What about toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss? Deodorant and body soap? I realize those items are not in the same category and as an immediate need as hygiene products for menstruation when the moment strikes, but they are also personal necessities. While public restrooms usually supply TP and hand soap, I rarely see feminine products supplied for free. Not even in hospitals. I understand feeling as if condoms are for males, but obviously they are for the greater good of all by helping promote safe sex to prevent disease transmission and unwanted pregnancy, so I say, “Pass out the free condoms–please!” Sure, for some students, purchasing feminine products may be a financial burden, and that has to be an awful feeling and situation, but what else should be supplied for free?
